exteriors are in the Craftsman style of architecture that is predominant
in Houston's Museum District.The Craftsman style of architecture
is typified by certain features: low pitched gable roofs with deep
overhands, wide eaves with exposed rafters and decorative braces,
porches with square columns, 1920s period color schemes, combinations of
plaster, lap siding, and cedar shingle exteriors, and high ceilings.
